I absolutely love this cargo rack, it definitely adds a lot to the utility and looks of the Outback. But it will cost you in MPG. I get about 25-26MPG city in my 2011 Outback without the rack and with the cross bars tucked away. With the cross bars in place and rack installed that drops to about 22-23MPG. Rack comes with the front plastic piece with the word Subaru printed on it, and comes with a bungee cord net with clips to secure cargo in the rack. You can also use this rack to mount things like kayak or bike racks to as well.
